We recently completed a new boiler installation at the Capital Hotel in Knightsbridge. The existing boilers were around 20 years old and working at 75-80% efficiency. When the hotel approached Darenth Valley they were keen to explore a more sustainable and environmentally friendly system whilst keeping the costs at an acceptable level.
Working with clients to find sustainable and financially beneficial solutions is something we do a lot. We helped this client reduce their carbon footprint by installing three Hamworthy Wessex Modumax fully modulating, stainless steel condensing boilers, which require significantly less gas to run and offer a staggering 95% efficiency that will deliver a marked reduction in the fuel bills.
During the installation we successfully maintained the heating and hot water supply, which meant the hotel could retain full occupancy throughout. A happy hotel with even happier guests, who had no interruption to their five star stay.
