Over the forty plus years that D Hammond has been in business we have gained considerable knowledge and experience in the refurbishment of listed and old buildings, and have carried out many projects in prestigious properties and occupied premises where there is a particular requirement to be mindful of the building’s use and the people who use it.

The majority of our work is in London and the south east so we are experienced at working around the access challenges that creates.

Planned preventative, reactive and emergency maintenance projects are delivered by our sister company Darenth Valley Building Services.

When working in occupied premises, we endeavour to make the project as trouble free as possible for tenants, ensuring work is carried out with the minimum noise, mess and disruption possible.

Landlords

Every contract is bespoke to the property and the landlord’s requirements. We are always mindful of working to these and the timing and budget requirements and ensuring the property complies with all relevant legislation.
