An apprenticeship with us is a great opportunity to gain rewarding practical experience, well-respected professional qualifications and the skills to build a successful career, all whilst earning a wage.
What our apprentices do
You’ll spend at least 12 months working with us to achieve your qualification. The time will be made up of on-the-job practical learning, skills training and a study element. The exact placement and responsibilities that you undertake may vary as we aim to take on apprentices where they’re most suited – this could be in a site-based or mobile engineering, electrical or mechanical role or a more office-based administration position.
Your placement will be spent in the workplace gaining hands-on experience and learning valuable new skills. As an apprentice, you’ll be treated with support and respect. We’ll provide a full induction and you’ll benefit from training, ongoing support and mentoring from experienced colleagues.
During your practical work experience, you’ll gain nationally recognised qualifications through either one day a week at college and workshops, or onsite training. We work in conjunction with training organisations such as JTL to provide:
- A vocational qualification to ensure that you have the necessary skills to do your role
- A qualification which will help you develop your knowledge and expertise in the sector
Mentoring and support
You’ll have an experienced member of the team as a mentor, who you can turn to with any queries or for advice.
You need to be a young person in either the 16-18 or 19-24 age group, who is eligible to work in the UK and not in full-time education. We invest time and money into developing our apprentices and providing them with a rewarding experience. In return, we’d like you to be motivated, eager and committed to learning and making the most of the opportunity. We’ll give you the tools, training and foundation to build a rewarding career and you’ll need to bring dedication, passion and a friendly, hard-working nature.
